This research is focused on quantifying changes in
historical precipitation climates and developing robust projections for future
conditions using both empirical downscaling and dynamical downscaling tools.

precipitation for the historical period (1911–2000) are drawn from; the data
set developed by Kunkel et al. [1998, 2005] and the National Weather Service
